There are two bells in the cathedral. They are an eighth-century bell and a fifteenth-century bell. They both are the most beautiful bells of Kiev. After the destruction of St. Sophia in 1917, it was rebuilt and the rest of the cathedrals were rebuilt as well.
The architect of the restoration of the church was an American who has studied Architecture. For this reason, the restoration of the Kiev Cathedral was planned very carefully and on time. The whole process took almost thirty years.
